System Requirements

In order for XOFTspy Portable to function correctly and to take advantage of all the features it offers, the following requirements and recommendations are outlined. Please note XOFTspy Portable does not run on standard USB flash drives, only those employing the U3 platform.

Minimum system requirements

The following are the minimum levels required. For improved responsiveness we recommend higher system specifications than those presented here.

For the U3 device:

• 15 megabytes (MB) Hard drive space

For the computer you connect to:

• Hardware requirements:
  • Intel Pentium II or compatible processor
  • 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM
  • USB port (USB 1 or 2)
• Supported operating systems:
  • Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 or higher
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
• Operating privileges:
  • Logged on as administrator

Recommendations

To use XOFTspy Portable, the following is recommended:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows
• Familiarity with the U3 Platform
• Internet connection
• USB2 port to improve performance
