Submit a Log File

If you complete a scan and remove items and find there are still spyware issues, you can receive technical support.

XOFTspy Portable takes advantage of a database of spyware and malware. It uses this database to check if the items on your computer match those of known threats. This collection of computer threats is constantly being updated to ensure that it meets the needs of customers. XOFTspy Portable loads the spyware database as soon as you start. If you are connected online, and there is a new database available, it will be uploaded.

New spyware threats

There are situations when new malicious software is released and, in some cases, these cannot be removed from your computer. If you should run into problems removing items you can email a log to our support team so that we can assist you. In this way our database is updated and then sent out to other customers so we can continue to offer the most current counter-measures to malicious software.

If you have purchased XOFTspy Portable you can send a log file of your last scan. To begin, you need to be connected to the Internet.

To submit a log file after a scan:
  1. In the left panel of the Main window click Help.
  2. Click Submit Log.
  3. Click Yes.
  4. In your email window, click the Send button.
