Backup and Restore

Every time you remove items with XOFTspy Portable you have the choice of storing a backup file on the local computer. A backup file is saved and you have the option of restoring the items. You can restore one or more backup files at a time.

To restore one or more backup files:

1. In the left panel of the Main window click Restore.
2. Select one or more backup files.
3. Click the Restore button in the lower right area.

Note: The location of the backup file on the local computer is:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Paretologic\XOFTspy Portable

For example: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator'sName\Application Data\Paretologic\XOFTspy Portable

Remove Backup Items

You can also remove items from the Backup list.

Recommendation: We recommend that you use caution when removing backup files. Use this feature only when you do not need to restore the removed items.

To delete a backup file:

1. In the left panel of the Main window click Restore.
2. Select one or more backup files.
3. Click the Delete button.
