Allow List
The Allow List is a list of email senders that you want to designate as safe to receive emails. All emails from senders in this list are automatically sent to your Inbox or the designated destination depending on your email application rules.
Note: All users can use ParetoLogic Spam Controls and can configure the Block List and Allow List including adding and removing items.
Add Senders
You can add senders to your Allow List from your email application or directly in the Allow List from the Main window.
To add a sender from your email application, do the following:
- Select the email.
- Click Allow Sender.
You can add a sender directly to the Allow List using the Main window. You can add a sender's email address or you can add a domain address to exclude any sender from a particular domain. Examples include:

To add a sender from the Main window, do the following:
- Open the Main window and click the Allow List link.
- Type in the address of the sender.
- Click Add.
The sender is added to the list and displayed in the text area.
Note: The Add button is disabled until a proper email address or domain is correctly entered.
Remove Senders
You can remove a sender from the Allow List.
To remove a sender from your email application, do the following:
- Select an email where the sender has been previously added to the Allow List (for example, an email in the PL Spam Controls folder).
- Click the Remove from Allow button.
From the Main window you can remove a sender directly from the Allow List.
To remove a sender from the Main window, do the following:
- Open the Main window and click the Allow List link.
- Select an entry in the Allow List.
- Click Remove.
Import Contacts from your Address Book
You can import all your email contacts from Windows Mail, Outlook, and Outlook Express to the Allow List.
To import the address book:
- Open the Main window and click the Allow List link.
- Click the Import Address Book button.
Note: If there are duplicate items, only one instance of the contact is listed.
If you add new contacts to your address book you can repeat these steps to update the Allow List.
