Block List

The Block List is a list of email senders that you want to block. All emails from any sender in the list are automatically sent to the PL Spam Controls folder.

Note: All users can use ParetoLogic Spam Controls and can configure the Block List and Allow List including adding and removing items.

Add Senders

You can add senders to your Block List from your email application or directly in the Block List from the Main window.

To add a sender from your email application, do the following:

1. Select the email.
2. Click Block Sender.

You can add a sender directly to the Block List using the Main window. You can add a sender's email address or you can add a domain address to exclude any sender from a particular domain. Examples include:

To add a sender from the Main window, do the following:

1. Open the Main window and click the Block List link.
2. Type in the address of the sender.
3. Click Add.

The sender is added to the list and displayed in the text area.

Note: The Add button is disabled until a proper email address or domain is correctly entered.

Remove Senders

You can remove a sender from the Block List.

To remove a sender from your email application, do the following:

1. Select an email where the sender has been previously added to the Block List (for example, an email in the PL Spam Controls folder).
2. Click the Remove from Block button.

From the Main window you can remove a sender directly from the Block List.

To remove a sender from the Main window, do the following:

1. Open the Main window and click the Block List link.
2. Select an entry in the Block List.
3. Click Remove.
