Settings

There are settings that you can configure to customize how you use ParetoLogic DriverCure. These include:
  • Setting the location of items that are downloaded
  • Setting automatic scanning when starting your computer
  • Setting automatic download after the startup scan is complete
  • Automatically setting a System Restore point before each ParetoLogic DriverCure install
  • Automatic email notification

To view the settings do the following:

In the top-right corner of the Main window click Settings.

Download Location

You can choose the downloaded location of detected items. By default the download location is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Downloads.

To select the download location:

  1. In the Download Location section, click the Browse button.
  2. Browse to a new location.
  3. Click OK.

Scan on Startup

You can have ParetoLogic DriverCure scan automatically every time you boot your system. You can also choose to have the detected items from these scan automatically downloaded.

To automatically scan on startup:

In the Scan on Startup section, click the Scan on startup option.

To automatically download detected items:

Click the Automatically download detected items option.

System Restore

You can set the Windows system restore point to automatically take place before you install items. By doing so you can safely restore your system to a previous state in the event that something should go wrong due to the installation of a driver or software.

To set the System Restore setting:

In the System Restore section, click the Set a system restore point option.

Email Update

You can receive automatic email notifications to stay current and to receive exclusive offers. You can also manage your email subscription.

To modify the email update settings:

In the Email Update Notification section, click Email Settings button.

A window is displayed and you can fill out the required information as directed.
