Starting a Scan

ParetoLogic DriverCure uses sophisticated and thorough scan technology that includes scanning the system hardware and software. See Scan and Install for more information.

Note: Scan time will vary depending on the size of the hard disk drive and system performance.

Start and Stop the Scan

You can start and stop a scan easily.

To start the scan:

1. From the Main window, select Scan.
2. Click the Start Scan button.

Once a scan has started you can let it run in the background and you can perform other operations. You are limited only by your computer system performance capabilities. When the scan is complete a list of detected items is displayed. For more information, see Scan Results.

Note: You can perform scans on an automatic basis using the Schedule feature.

Cancel the Scan

You can choose to cancel the scan and return to the previous step.

To cancel the scan do the following:
