Operating Privileges

There are certain operating system privileges that you inherit when you are assigned to a user group for your computer system. Windows® 7, Windows Vista® and Windows® XP have built-in groups. Membership to a group gives you rights and abilities to perform various tasks.

ParetoLogic DriverCure supports administrator rights. Users with Limited User status can perform a scan but cannot install items and are not permitted to un-install the product. In these situations you will need administrator credentials.

If you are experiencing difficulties with using the full functionality of this program or if you are receiving error messages relating to privileges, you need to log off and log on as an administrator to the operating system. You can do this from the Windows Start button.

For more information on user groups and user group assignment, refer to your operating system help information.
