About Page

The ParetoLogic Data Recovery About page contains important information regarding your product and updates. You can check for product updates so that your program is current. The About page can be found in the Main Window.

To view the About page, do the following:

In the Main Window, click About.

The information listed in the About page includes your product version, license version, and the last time updates were checked.

Updates

You are welcome to receive free Data Recovery product updates. Updates are automatically performed and you can also choose to manually check for updates or you can schedule updates.

Note: Having the most up-to-date application provides you with the latest and best functionality.

Auto Updates

By default, ParetoLogic Data Recovery automatically checks for any recent updates. If an update is available it is automatically downloaded.

Manual Updates

Alternatively, you can manually check for updates.

To manually check for the latest program update:

In the Main window About page, click the Check for Updates button.

Scheduled Updates

You can configure the Update Options settings so that all your ParetoLogic applications will be updated in the same way.

To configure scheduled updates, do the following:

  1. In the Main window About page, click the Update Options button.
  2. Configure the ParetoLogic Update Options settings.
  3. Click OK.

You can get more assistance on the Update Option settings by clicking the Help button or pressing the F1 key. This will launch the Update Options help file.
