Browser Hijack Settings
The Browser Hijack monitor protects your system from malware attacks directed at altering, or "hijacking", your Internet Browser settings. You can adjust the Protection level for the Internet Browser Hijack monitor and you can also select the Internet address for your home page and the search page as described here.
To set a customized Protection level for the monitor, do the following:
- Click the Active Protection button in the Main window.and select Internet Monitors.
- Click the drop-down arrow at the top of the page and select Browser Hijack.
- In the Options section, click the drop-down arrow and select the Protection level.

Home Page Options
You can set your Internet browser home page and have ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS automatically restore the home page should it be changed.
To set the home page, do the following:
- Type the Internet address in the text box.
- Click the Set Now button.
Auto Restore
You can set the automatic restore function. Should the Internet Browser home page be altered, ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS performs an automatic restore based on the address specified.
To set the Auto Restore, do the following:
- Check that the Internet address in the text box is correct.
- Click the Auto Restore button.
