Custom Levels

Each ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS monitor can be set to determine the actions you would like Active Protection to take when detecting a malware threat. You can set the security levels of all the monitors or customize each one individually. To see a description of the Protection levels and to find out how to set all levels to the same setting, see Protection Levels. By setting customized levels you choose which monitors you want set at particular levels of protection.

Setting Custom Active Protection Levels

By opening a monitor and changing the Protection level to a setting different from the rest, you have created customized settings. There are two ways you can access the Protection levels and then customize the settings.

To access the Protection levels and customize the settings do the following:

  1. Click the Active Protection button in the Main window and then do one of the following:
    • In the Active Protection panel of the Main window click Overview. In the bottom half of the Overview page, scroll down and select a link corresponding to the monitor.
    • In the Active Protection panel of the Main window click either the Internet Monitors or Windows Monitors button. In the drop-down list located at the top of the page, select one of the monitors.
  2. Adjust the Protection level for the monitor.

For more information, see Internet and Windows Monitors and Browser Hijack Settings.
