Active Protection Overview

Information and settings relating to Protection levels and anti-malware monitors can be found on the Overview page. Each monitor can be configured based on the actions you would like taken when a malware threat is detected. You can set the Protection levels of all the monitors or customize each one individually.

Predefined Protection Levels

The top portion of the Active Protection Overview is the Protection Level section. You can choose to set all the monitors so they are at the same Protection level.

Overview Information

In the lower half of the window, a summary of the Protection level is displayed. The individual monitors are grouped in two categories: Internet and Windows. Each monitor includes:
  • A description of what is being monitored.
  • The Protection level.
  • Any applicable options.

Before you choose a Protection level it is best to know what actions ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS takes at each setting including the level of blocking and the alert notification. A table is provided on the Protection Levels page.

Alert Notification: Overview

Alert notification refers to a popup window that is displayed so as to notify you when a threat arises. To better understand the actions taken and the choices available, follow these links:
