Ignore List

When a scan is complete a list of detected items is displayed in the Objects Detected section as seen below. You can choose to ignore items that are detected as potential threats. By adding an item to the Ignore list, ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS does not remove the item. Instead the item is ignored when performing upcoming scans.

Caution: It is recommended that you have some knowledge of the items you choose to NOT remove from your system.

You can expand categories in the Objects Detected list.

To expand the list do the following:

Click the plus sign in the front of the detected item.

To send an item to the Ignore when a scan is complete, do the following:

Click the Ignore link.

The item is removed from the Objects Detected list and is placed in the Ignore list. You can also remove items from the Ignore list so that they are once again available to be scanned and detected for removal.

To remove items from the Ignore list:

1. In the Main window click Ignore.
2. Check the associated box of one or more items in the list.
3. Click the Remove button.
