Start and Exit the Program

You can launch ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS from the desktop icon or from the Start menu.

To start the program do one of the following:

• Double-click the Launch Anti-Virus PLUS icon on the desktop.
• Click Start and select All Programs | ParetoLogic | Anti-Virus PLUS | Launch Anti-Virus PLUS.

Close and Exit the Program

You can close the program so the Main window no longer appears but the application remains running in the background. See Main Window for more information. You can also choose to exit the program.

To close the Main window:

Click the close X button located at the top-right of the Main window.

To open the Main window:

Right-click the ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS icon in the system tray and select Open ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS.

To exit the program:

Right-click the ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS icon in the system tray and select Exit.

Note: When you exit the program, you no longer have Active Protection and your computer is susceptible to malware attacks and changes from outside sources. You will however receive automatic scheduled scans as determined by the settings.
