Malware Database

ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS takes advantage of a database that consists of malware definitions. It uses this database to check if the items on your computer match those of known malware threats. ParetoLogic uses proprietary Zheng™ technology to help gather malware definitions for our database engine. In this way, we work to protect you against current threats.

ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS loads the malware database as soon as you start.

Note: You require an Internet connection.

If you have an online connection when you start the program and a new database is available, it will be automatically updated. You can also check for new database updates. For more information, see Settings.
