Browser Hijack Settings
The Browser Hijack monitor protects your system from malware attacks directed at altering, or "hijacking" your Internet Browser settings. You can adjust the Protection Level for the Internet Browser Hijack monitor and you can also select the Internet address for your home page and the search page as described here.
To set the Protection Level for the monitor, do the following:
- In the left Active Protection panel of the Main window click Internet Monitors and then select Browser Hijack.
- In the Options section, click the drop-down arrow and select the level.

Home Page and Search Page Options
You can set the Home page and the Search page and have ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware automatically restore these should they be changed.
To set the Home Page or the Search Page, do the following:
- Type the Internet address in the text box.
- Click the Set Now button.
Auto Restore
You can set the automatic restore function so that if the Internet Browser Home page or Search page are altered, ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware will automatically restore them to the address specified.
To set the Auto Restore, do the following:
- Check that the Internet address in the text box is correct.
- Click the Auto Restore button.
