Backup and Restore

After running a scan and removing detected items, ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware automatically generates a backup. You have the option of restoring these items. You can restore one or more backup files at a time.

Caution: Restoring unwanted items could lead to unexpected or harmful results for your computer system.

To restore one or more backup files, do the following:

  1. In the left Anti-Spyware panel of the Main window click Backup.
  2. Select one or more backup files.
  3. Click the Restore button.

Remove Backup Items

You can also remove items from the Backup list.

Recommendation: We recommend that you use caution when removing backup files. Use this feature only when you do not need to restore the removed items.

To delete a backup file:

  1. In the left Anti-Spyware panel of the Main window click Backup.
  2. Select one or more backup files.
  3. Click the Delete button.
