Position Summary:
The technical product manager is responsible for defining market requirements and packaging product features into releases. The position involves close interaction with the development group and key stakeholders. Job duties include gathering requirements from prospects, market information, customers, writing the market requirements and then monitoring the execution and implementation of the product project.

Role:
Find specific market problems that are not being served by ParetoLogic products or their competitors and define them to the point where ParetoLogic can develop products or features to solve those problems. This is done by monitoring market information sources and competitive intelligence and then focusing corporate resources on those untapped opportunities.
Accountabilities:
- Research and analyze consumer market and industry trends for potential opportunities
- Maintain consumer buyer profiles
- Provide ParetoLogic technology assessments against market demands
- Identify innovation opportunities in markets that ParetoLogic’s consumer products are not currently in
- Gather product intelligence through customer feedback
- Engage internal stakeholders to communicate market needs and form them into product enhancements
- Develop and maintain product documentation that effectively communicates market needs to technical groups
- Lead, drive and communicate product launches in concert with project managers
- Maintain and communicate competitive intelligence
Required Skills:
- Action oriented
- Clearly and concisely communicate in all mediums to all levels and across all disciplines within an organization
- Engender collaboration amongst a diverse set of team members
- Author a variety of documents, both business and technical
- Presentation skills that include managing meetings, presenting ideas and building consensus on product decisions
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Pragmatic Marketing model
- 3 to 5 years in the technology industry
- Post secondary education in Business or Technology, or experiential equivalent
